2026 CONVENTION
Practical training reviews from the Korean Pharmaceutical Association’s Center for Patient Safety and Drug Management, current status of movie and drama utilization in pharmacy, medical, and nursing education, and implications for domestic pharmacy education
I had participated in 2 kinds of advanced practice program: a five-week practical internship from March 16 to April 17, 2026 in program of the Patient Safety and Medication Management Center(preceptor; Na-Young Kim) and 400 hours program of Health and Social Pharmacy division at College of Pharmacy, Inje University(preceptor; Seong-Ok Kim). At the Patient Safety and Medication Management Center, I had learn how to conduct causality assessments based on WHO-UMC criteria, monitor drug safety information and analyze patient safety incidents, and had delivered seminar presentations on topics such as \"Peptic Ulcer Bleeding and Iron Supplementation in Patients Taking Antiplatelet Agents\" and \"AI Healthcare and Pharmacists.\" This internship allowed me to integrate my understanding of pharmacovigilance and patient safety into practical experience and to cultivate the professionalism and practical competencies required of a pharmacist. At the College of Pharmacy, I had conducted study, which is a descriptive literature review that analyzed 48 publications regarding the use of films and dramas in pharmacy, medicine, and nursing education to examine the current landscape. It summarizes educational topics, specific teaching methods, and educational outcomes, and comprehensively discusses the characteristics of education in each field and the potential for application within domestic pharmacy education.
