Botulinum type A toxin is a biological agent widely used in the medical and beauty fields through the nerve root blocking effect, and many domestic companies are making great efforts to export to China. In this study, we tried to find out the difference in potency by testing with mice widely used in Korea and Chinese Kunming mice under the same conditions as a Chinese pharmacokinetic test method and comparing them with each other. The number of mice used per dose is 10, and the fatality rate according to the dose was determined by checking the number of mice that died 96 hours after intraperitoneal injection, and using this value, the LD₅₀ of domestic and Kunming mice was calculated and compared with each other. As a result of the analysis, there was a difference in potency between domestic mice and Kunming mice, and domestic mice tended to appear lower than Kunming mice. By presenting the difference in efficacy between domestic and Kunming mice through this study, it will be helpful to prepare for entry into China based on this. In the future, studies that show differences in efficacy depending on the type of animal should be conducted.
