The endocrine disruting chemical (EDC) was determined by gas chromatography/flame ionization detector (GC/FID).

The plastic color balls were analyzed using freeze filtering method (FFM) and TBDMS derivatization.

The EDC in plastic color balls sample was extraced with acetonitrile, and than freezing 2 hours at –60oC. Also, filteration and subsequent conversion to TBDMS derivatives for sensitive analysis with the GC/FID.

When these methods were applied to the plastic color balls sample, FFM and TBDMS derivatization were adequated suitable for pharmaceutical quality control samples.
